Fall Fever Again

You wake up to a morning chill;
a bite is in the air.
The light of dawn comes later on,
and trees will soon be bare.

The greenery's turned colorful,
and leaves are falling fast;
you sense the call of coming fall,
as Summer's finally passed.

Pumpkins appear everywhere,
the town's a festive scene.
The fall landscape is taking shape
for the month of Halloween.

This Autumn has nice days ahead,
great weather is forecast,
and my best season with good reason,
if only it would last!
